Taylor Lorenz, The Washington Post’s Internet Culture beat Reporter, is accused of doxxing “the anonymous woman who operates the popular Twitter account” Libs of TikTok.”
Lorenz, a former New York Times journalist burst into tears on MSNBC as he recounted a case of “harassment” he experienced online.
“Doxxing” is a term used to describe the act of posting personal information of those who wish to remain anonymous.
Many netizens accused Lorenz of hypocrisy after it was claimed that he showed up at the woman’s relative’s house to ask questions.
The “Libs of TikTok” account, which posts TikTok videos from liberals and has generated more than 662,500 followers, posted pictures of Lorenz when he was outside the home.
